Trump bemoans his Time magazine cover. ‘The picture may be the Worst of All Time’
President Donald Trump isn’t happy with his latest Time magazine cover photo.
The upcoming November 10 issue features a photo of Trump taken from a low angle, with sunlight creating a halo effect around his hair, making it appear blurred and blending into the light. The cover includes three headlines: “His Triumph,” “The Leader Israel Needed,” and “How Gaza Heals,” referencing the potential significance of a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, which could be a hallmark of Trump’s second term.
However, Trump took to Truth Social in the early hours of the morning, while returning to the U.S. from Egypt, to voice his displeasure with the image.
“Time Magazine wrote a relatively good story about me, but the picture may be the Worst of All Time,” he posted. “They ‘disappeared’ my hair, and then had something floating on top of my head that looked like a floating crown, but an extremely small one. Really weird! I never liked taking pictures from underneath angles, but this is a super bad picture, and deserves to be called out. What are they doing, and why?”
Time has not yet responded to the critique regarding the cover.
This isn’t the first time Trump has been on the cover of Time. In February 2025, the cover depicted an illustration of Trump swiping items off his Oval Office desk, with the caption “He’s Back.” In May 2025, a more serious portrait of Trump appeared, staring directly at the camera with the title “Dealing with It.”
